Ah-ha! Their technology is not magic at all!

Since I arrived in this realm, I have dedicated myself to the study of their technology in an effort to prove that it is non-magical in nature. They all said it couldn’t be done, as well. The secret wizards banished to this realm congregate on Astral-Book, where we post pictures and also passive-aggressive statuses, and many are the debates we have entered into regarding technology.

Fortunately, much information is available on the internet. I started with air conditioning, because here in Brisbane, air conditioning professionals are perhaps the best in terms of skill. People revere them as lords and ladies of comfort, at least from what I can interpret from their strange polite manner of speech. I must admit, I certainly appreciated them coming to my small house and installing a small unit in my small lounge. Frost wizardry is not my chosen discipline; I only learned enough to cause a small flurry, for prank purposes. Such a thing rapidly dissipates in the heat of a Brisbane summer. Why, oh why did I choose to follow the path of the Mystic Giant? That’s of no help to anyone in extreme weather such as this.

Anyway, I now understand the basics of cooling. The conversion of liquid to gas absorbs heat, and with the right chemicals, one can continuously repeat this feat within coils that eventually create cool air, for the good of all!

Of course, this is not acceptable to the troglodytes on Astral-Book. They insist that this reaction is identical to the brewing of potions, a branch of witchcraft. And what of the remote wand to turn the unit on? Until I conduct further research, they continue to believe that air conditioning repairs in Brisbane is magic. But they cannot be. There is no magic in this realm!
