What Happened at the Party Venue

Kay, so I don’t think anyone on the forums saw this coming. I was honestly, totally expecting things to go in completely the opposite direction, which would have Dana realising that her dream of inventing the self-cleaning mop robot was never going to work, and that she needed to just stop for the sake of her sanity. Instead, she went right off the deep end since Gregory reminded her of that whole embarrassing pine cone incident, and she set the mop robot on everyone in town, starting a reign of terror.

Everyone had to flee Realsville to the nearby Cannon Hill, in the kids birthday party venue where they’re all taking refuge because its terrain is so unpredictable. It’s a stroke of genius on the part of writer’s part, I think, because I’ve been talking about it on the forums and that’s exactly what I would’ve done. Of course, the person who suggested it was Penny, who lives a secret double life as a missile engineer and thus brushes up against army types all the time. Of course, it makes perfect sense that she would be the one to shepherd everyone into the play centre, which surely must be getting scads of visitors in real life because of what a high-profile show Week of Our Lives has become. Not to mention the children of Realsville must be having a great time, not understanding the true threat of the mop robot.

Oh, and to top it all off, June and Ryan have ended up there together, which is super significant because they met when their respective children were having a birthday party there and fell in love, which lead to their tumultuous four-year relationship that ended when June volunteered for the experimental bionic appendix operation and Ryan couldn’t handle part of her being machine. Back in that humble Cannon Hill indoor play centre! What a twist!
