Nate and O’Sullivan, armed with the knowledge of the treasure’s location, made their way to Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Using the ancient map, they located a hidden entrance to a subterranean temple.
Inside, the temple was dark and damp, with water flowing through channels cut into the stone. “This place reminds me of that old video game…” said O’Sullivan. “What was it called? Crushed Marsupial?”
“Oh yeah,” Nate said. “I know the one. Blanking on the name, though. Spinny Fox, maybe?”
As they delved deeper, they discovered that the temple was rigged with plumbing-based traps. Water levels shifted, ancient pipes gushed with water and timed mechanisms forced them to calculate their movements carefully.
“I think this confirms that I’m the best drain repair professional Melbourne has ever seen,” O’Sullivan boasted, adjusting valves and redirecting the water flow to disable one of the traps.
After navigating the traps, they entered the heart of the temple, where they found the treasure – the Trident of the Tides, an artefact of unimaginable power, capable of controlling water.
Suddenly, Victor Drainage and his men ambushed them. With a sinister laugh, Drainage took the trident from its resting place.
“With this trident,” he proclaimed, “I will flood Melbourne and rebuild it under my dominion.”
As the trident glowed and water began to surge through the temple, Nate panicked. “O’Sullivan, do something!”
“You think I can fix this just because I’m a drain plumber? Melbourne is going to be flooded – there’s nothing I can do about that, at least not alone!” O’Sullivan exclaimed.
Nate, not willing to give up, devised a daring plan. Using the ancient relics they had found, he initiated a chain reaction that temporarily redirected the water flow. In the chaos, Nate and O’Sullivan fought Drainage’s men as they attempted to escape the flooding temple.
Back on the surface, Nate and O’Sullivan knew that the final confrontation was imminent. They had to stop Drainage, who they knew would stop at nothing to enact his sinister plan.
Determined, they prepared for the battle to save Melbourne.
