The Dirge cannot believe he has been given the task of designing a bathroom for his next challenge. This is a most unfortunate turn of events, for the Dirge has a phobia of all things when it comes to designing bathrooms. It is possible that this fear comes from a moment in his childhood when his father was working on bathroom renovations in their family home. His father was adjusting the lights of the bathroom, standing on a stepladder, when he fell down and broke his leg. Ever since that day, the Dirge has been afraid to enter a bathroom that is being renovated.
Will the Dirge be able to conquer this fear and take first place in the competition, redeeming his horrible failure in the glass balustrade challenge? Personally, he doubts it. Bathroom design is not something he can handle. That will make it two straight challenges that he has come last, despite being the overwhelming favourite to take Charity home. He admits it is humiliating, but there is nothing he can do about it.
Although, the Dirge has just had a great idea. He does not remember hiring an assistant, but the news has reported that he apparently hired one in an old Supervillain Training Academy peer, Dr Dark McBane. Perhaps he could call McBane and get him to drive over to Sweden, Victoria. The Dirge could get Dr Dark McBane to do the bathroom renovation for him. He could use an invisibility plasma raygun to hide the doctor. McBane will be able to complete excellent bathroom renovations within Melbourne on behalf of the Dirge. It is a brilliant plan.
The Dirge is fairly sure that he can get away with it, although it is technically cheating. Jack Zebraman hired a professional glazier company to complete his glass balustrade and didn’t get caught, even though he posted about it online. That means the Dirge should be in the clear. Now it is time to call Dr McBane and get him to Sweden to create this bathroom design.
