Personally, I LIKE how we do something different every day. I mean, I get into the occasional flurry when someone rings up and asks about a special brand of cat food for felines with irritable bowel syndrome, but hey…I’m a child of my generation. I have search engines and the internet-o-sphere for that kind of thing! It’s really not that hard; you just say ‘no problem, just hold for one moment and I’ll look that up for you!’ (in your most chipper tone of voice, so they don’t suspect you know nothing about anything), and then you look it up.
Boom. You can find anything on the internet. So now that we’re getting people ringing up about concrete rendering in Melbourne (funnily enough, since we’re in Alice Springs…oh well), I was an expert by the third or so call.
In case anyone is wondering, concrete rendering gives your home an extra coat of concrete that makes it look fab and can even repel the weather. All good things, and on top of it all, I certainly know what I want to be done with my home! When I have a home…I mean, house prices out here really aren’t too bad, so I should be able to save up for a deposit at some point. Maybe…in a few years or so? A few more years of LEARNING, mind you, since this entire venture means I’m learning new and exciting things each and every week, and sometimes in the middle of the week. Like concrete rendering, and what food to give to a cat who just can’t keep anything down. Or…keeps too much down.
So yes, it doesn’t bother me that we switch clients a lot, because I take life as a challenge and try to become better for it. The flavour of the month is pool inflatables, in case you were wondering. Not much to know there, since it’s not quite the same, deep industry as cement rendering. Kind of fun, though. Makes me think of summer.
